Born from a simple frustration.
China Seasons was born from a simple frustration: the gap between how China is sold to travellers and what China actually is. The rushed buses, the crowded viewpoints, the itineraries designed around efficiency rather than experience. We built something different — small, private journeys guided by people who know these places not as landmarks, but as home.
We are a team of China specialists — guides, planners, and logistics experts — who have spent years on the ground across every region we cover. We operate privately and intentionally, taking on a limited number of trips each year so that every journey receives the attention it deserves.

The China that most visitors never find.
Our mission is to give travellers the China that most visitors never find: the village at the end of the road, the monastery at dawn before the coaches arrive, the meal that has no English menu. Places and moments that only become accessible when you are guided by someone who belongs to them.
We do this one trip at a time, built around you — your curiosity, your pace, your people. Every itinerary starts with a conversation. Every journey is shaped by what we learn from it.
