Harbin Ice Festival & Winter Wonderland
5 days / 4 nightsOthers2 reviews
Overview
For five weeks each January, Harbin becomes the most extraordinary city on Earth. Hundreds of buildings sculpted entirely from ice and snow — some five storeys tall, lit from within by coloured LEDs — fill two vast parks with an architecture that is somehow both ephemeral and monumental. This tour delivers the festival at its peak, including the ice sculpture competition grounds, the Snow Expo, and the outdoor Siberian tiger reserve just beyond the city.
Tour Highlights
- Night visit to Ice and Snow World — buildings carved from Songhua River ice
- Morning at the Snow Sculpture Expo on Sun Island
- Visit the Siberian Tiger Park — Amur tigers in a semi-wild boreal forest
- Russian-influenced architecture of Zhongyang Pedestrian Street
- Ice lantern art show at Zhaolin Park
